DUO

Created in 2021, the Estevão & Silva Duo was born out of the creative need of Fernanda Estevão (piano) and Marcio Silva (drums). From the very beginning, the individual influences of each musician connected, shaping the duo’s sound and evolving through their musical confluences, especially within the universe of Brazilian music.

With a deep commitment to crafting a unique sound, the duo seeks not only to explore the tonal and expressive possibilities of the piano and drums but also to translate their experiences and musical identities into an authentic language.

Currently, the Estevão & Silva Duo is in the process of recording its first album, featuring reinterpretations of composers essential to its aesthetic, such as Hermeto Pascoal, Guinga, Cláudio Santoro, Milton Nascimento, among others.
